HP SmartCache is a controller-based caching solution for DAS environments that improves storage performance by caching frequently accessed (“hot”) data on lower-latency solid state drives (SSDs). It runs on HP Smart Array controllers and dynamically accelerates application workloads by reducing IO latency.
