Description

The HSM X13 particle-cut paper shredder provides secure disposal of sensitive documents for small offices or up to five users. It features a 4 mm particle-cut working width, a 23 L removable waste container with inspection window, and a separate CD cutting unit with its own waste container. The compact unit (390 × 300 × 595 mm) runs quietly at 57 dB and is mounted on castors for easy relocation.

Advantages

This paper shredder includes an anti-jam automatic return function and a light barrier for automatic start/stop, reducing the risk of paper jams. A LED panel displays Power, Overload, Overheat, Bin full and Door open status. The device automatically stops when the waste container is full and the removable container with level indicator simplifies emptying. The separate CD cutting unit allows sorted disposal of optical media.

How to use

Place the HSM X13 on a flat surface and unlock or open the feed area according to the user manual. Insert paper, cards or CDs into the appropriate feed slots; the light barrier will start the shredder automatically. If a paper jam occurs the automatic return reverses the feed to clear the jam. Monitor the LED indicators for status messages and switch off the unit before moving it on its castors.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, do not exceed the recommended feed capacity and regularly empty the 23 L waste container when the level indicator shows it is full. Use the separate CD cutting unit and its waste container for optical media to keep shredded materials sorted.
