HSM X10 is a compact particle-cut paper shredder with P-4 security level, cutting paper into 4.5 x 30 mm particles. It accepts up to 10 sheets (22 cm feed) and destroys staples, paper clips, credit cards and CDs. The HSM shredstar X10 document shredder provides professional data protection for the workplace and home office. It features particle-cut shredding with a shredding size of 4.5 x 30 mm and a working width of 220 mm, and includes a separate cutting unit for CDs and DVDs. The compact device operates at a low noise level (58 dB) and has a power consumption of 160 W on a standard 230 V AC supply.

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and connect it to a 230 V AC outlet. Feed paper into the main feed; the integrated light barrier will automatically start the device and stop it after shredding. To destroy CDs, DVDs or plastic cards, use the separate CD cutting slot; shredded disc material is collected in its own waste compartment. If a paper jam occurs the anti-paper jam automatic return will reverse the cut to clear the feed. Monitor the LED indicator for device status and use the inspection window to check the waste container fill level. Remove the housing top to empty the waste containers when necessary.

Usage recommendations

For continuous daily use, allow periodic cool-down to prevent overheating and avoid inserting items not specified for shredding. Regularly check and empty both the paper and CD waste compartments to maintain performance and prevent overfill.
