HydraPak hydration reservoir Velocity 3L Clear by HydraPak AS323

The HydraPak hydration reservoir Velocity 3L Clear is a 3‑litre soft bladder designed to store and deliver water hands‑free during outdoor activities. The transparent material lets you check fluid level at a glance, while a wide fill port makes refilling and cleaning straightforward. A secure hose connection and compatible shape allow installation in most hydration packs and backpacks for hiking, cycling, trail running and daily use.

Advantages

The clear construction provides visual monitoring of remaining liquid without opening the reservoir. The wide opening reduces spillage when refilling and simplifies drying after use. A robust hose connection ensures a secure feed to the bite valve, and the flexible, low‑bulk design packs flat when empty to save space. Materials resist typical outdoor wear and are designed for repeated filling and cleaning.

Suitable for

• Day hikes and multi‑hour backpacking trips where easy access to drinking water is needed
• Cycling and mountain biking with hands‑free hydration requirements
• Trail running and long training sessions requiring quick fluid access
• Urban commuting or any activity where a lightweight, packable water reservoir is useful

When it may not be suitable

This reservoir is intended for water and non‑carbonated drinks; it is not designed for hot liquids or carbonated beverages. Users who require insulated delivery or integrated filtration should consider additional accessories, as the basic clear bladder does not provide thermal insulation or a built‑in filter.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 3 litres
• Material: clear flexible hydration bladder material suitable for repeated use
• Fill style: wide fill port for easy refilling and cleaning
• Connection: hose connection for standard hydration pack tubing
• Packability: folds flat when empty to save space in a pack

How to use

Open the wide fill port to pour in water, then securely close the opening to prevent leaks. Route the hose through your pack’s hydration sleeve or designated opening and connect the bite valve as needed. To drink, bite the valve and draw water through the tubing. After use, rinse with clean water, leave open to dry thoroughly, and store dry to avoid odour formation. For longer storage, clean with a mild cleaning solution recommended for hydration bladders.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm compatibility with your hydration pack or backpack sleeve dimensions and hose routing
• Decide if you need insulation, a filter, or an insulated hose—those are not included
• Consider cleaning method and drying space to prevent odours during storage

Usage recommendations

Use cold or room‑temperature water, rinse the bladder after each use, and allow it to dry fully before storing. If you plan to carry drinks other than water, follow manufacturer guidance for safe use and cleaning to maintain taste and hygiene.
