HydraPak Packflask Kit 500ml reusable soft water bottle, Golden Yellow

The HydraPak Packflask Kit 500ml reusable soft water bottle in Golden Yellow is a lightweight, collapsible hydration option designed for running, hiking and travel. With a 500 ml capacity, the Packflask stores water securely when full and folds flat when empty to save space in pockets, vests or packs. The kit includes a leak-resistant cap and an ergonomic bite-valve mouthpiece to enable easy one-handed drinking during activity while minimising spills and splashback.

Advantages

The soft, flexible construction reduces bulk and weight compared with rigid bottles and allows the flask to be stowed flat when empty. The leak-resistant cap and ergonomic mouthpiece are designed to provide a secure drinking experience during movement. The 500 ml capacity balances lightweight portability with a practical amount of fluid for short runs, hikes or daily use. The bright Golden Yellow colour improves visibility in a pack or on the trail.

Suitable for

• Short to medium distance running and trail running
• Day hikes and walking
• Travel and commuting where packable hydration is needed
• Storing as a backup or spare hydration in a vest or backpack

When it may not be suitable

This 500 ml soft flask is not intended as the primary hydration source for long-distance events or multi-day trips where larger capacity reservoirs are required. Runners or hikers who need hands-free continuous drinking may prefer a hydration bladder with a drinking tube or larger bottles with external attachment systems. The soft construction may not withstand sharp objects or prolonged abrasion without protective storage.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 500 ml
• Material: flexible, BPA-free soft polymer (suitable for food contact)
• Closure: leak-resistant screw cap with secure mouthpiece
• Mouthpiece: ergonomic bite-valve for one-handed drinking
• Weight: lightweight, designed for low pack weight
• Packability: collapsible / folds flat when empty
• Colour: Golden Yellow

How to use

Fill the Packflask with clean drinking water up to the indicated capacity, screw the cap on securely and close the mouthpiece when not in use to minimise leakage. During activity, use the ergonomic bite-valve to drink; squeeze the soft body gently to increase flow if required. After use, rinse or wash the flask with warm soapy water and allow it to dry fully with the cap off before folding and storing to prevent odours and mould.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended duration of activity—500 ml suits short to medium outings rather than extended multi-day use
• Need for hands-free drinking—if required, consider a hydration system with a tube
• Storage and protection—soft flasks are packable but benefit from being kept away from sharp gear
• Cleaning preferences—ensure you are comfortable washing and drying a soft, foldable bottle

Usage recommendations

For best results, rinse the flask after each use, store it open and dry to prevent odour, and carry it inside a protective pocket or sleeve when placed in a backpack to avoid punctures. The Packflask is most effective as a lightweight, secondary hydration option for runs, day hikes and travel.
