The HydraPak Packflask Kit 750ml in Sage Green is a soft, collapsible hydration flask designed for outdoor activities and endurance sports. With a 750 ml capacity and a simple cap for filling and pouring, this lightweight packflask collapses as you drink to reduce bulk and fits easily into backpacks, running belts, or jacket pockets. The kit format provides the flask and a compatible cap for straightforward use and maintenance.
Advantages
The Packflask is made from flexible, packable materials that minimize weight and volume when empty. Its collapsible design reduces sloshing and saves space in a pack as fluid is consumed. The included cap is designed for easy filling and secure sealing, while the wide-mouth opening simplifies cleaning and adding ice or electrolyte mixes. Durable construction and a low-profile shape make it suitable for motion-oriented activities where rigid bottles are inconvenient.
Suitable for
- Trail running and road running where low weight and compact storage are priorities
- Day hiking and fastpacking when saving space in a pack is important
- Biking and commuting when a soft, flexible container is preferred
- Travel and outdoor events as a lightweight spare water container
When it may not be suitable
This soft flask is not intended for long-term storage of liquids; prolonged contact with certain beverages (highly acidic or oily sports drinks) may require more frequent cleaning to avoid taste transfer. It is also less suitable where a rigid bottle is needed to protect a hydration system from crushing or where an integrated bite-valve or reservoir connection is required.
Key specifications
- Capacity: 750 ml
- Material: flexible, collapsible polymer construction
- Shape: low-profile, packable design
- Filling: wide-mouth opening for easy filling and cleaning
- Weight: lightweight for easy carry during endurance activities
How to use
Fill the flask through the wide-mouth opening and secure the cap before stowing it in a pack or belt. As you drink, the flask will collapse to reduce volume; squeeze gently if needed to regulate flow. After use, rinse and clean the flask with warm water and mild detergent, leaving it open to dry fully before storage to prevent odors. For faster drying, prop the opening so air can circulate through the interior.
What to consider before purchase
- Check that a soft, collapsible flask fits your carrying system (pack pocket, belt or jacket)
- Decide whether you need a rigid bottle or an insulated option instead
- Consider cleaning frequency if you plan to use concentrated or flavored drinks
- Confirm that the capacity meets your typical hydration needs for intended activities
Usage recommendations
Use the HydraPak Packflask Kit 750ml for activities that benefit from low weight and compact storage. Rinse promptly after using sports drinks, and store dry with the cap off to maintain freshness. Pair with a soft-sided pocket or running belt to keep the flask accessible on the move.
