HydraPak Flux 750 ml Hydration Reservoir – Golden Yellow, SoftFlask

The HydraPak Flux 750 ml Hydration Reservoir in Golden Yellow is a 750‑milliliter soft flask designed for lightweight, collapsible on‑the‑go hydration. Made for runners, hikers, cyclists and everyday commuters, the Flux softflask collapses as you drink to minimise sloshing and bulk. It features a wide opening for easy filling and cleaning and is constructed from flexible materials to pack flat when empty. The compact capacity suits short outings and high‑intensity activities where a low‑weight, easily stowed water carrier is required.

Advantages

The Flux softflask combines a flexible, lightweight construction with a large fill opening and a secure closure system to make refilling and maintenance straightforward. Its collapsible design reduces movement of liquid and fits easily into running belts, jersey pockets or pack lids. The Golden Yellow colour improves visibility while remaining neutral in appearance for urban or outdoor use. Materials are chosen for food contact, and the simple shape allows quick drying and cleaning.

Suitable for

• Short to medium distance running and trail runs
• Day hikes and fastpacking where low weight and packability matter
• Cycling, including gravel and road rides with limited stops
• Everyday commuting and carrying spare water in backpacks or jacket pockets

When it may not be suitable

The 750 ml capacity may be insufficient for long multi‑hour outings in hot conditions or for users who prefer to carry larger volumes of water. It is not designed to replace rigid bottles for mounting in standard frame cages without an additional sleeve or holder. Users needing integrated filtration or insulation should consider purpose‑built alternatives.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 750 milliliters
• Type: Soft hydration reservoir (softflask)
• Material: Flexible, food‑contact safe materials suitable for liquid storage
• Fill/opening: Wide opening for easy filling and cleaning
• Closure: Secure seal to minimise leaks and spillage
• Colour: Golden Yellow
• Weight: Designed to be lightweight and packable when empty

How to use

Open the wide mouth closure to fill the Flux reservoir with drinking water, then securely fasten the closure before stowing. Squeeze or sip from the soft nozzle while on the move; the bladder collapses as liquid is consumed to reduce sloshing. After use, rinse with warm water and allow to dry fully with the opening propped open. For thorough cleaning, use a bottle‑brush or reservoir cleaning accessories compatible with softflasks.

What to consider before purchase

• Required capacity for your activity — 750 ml is intended for shorter outings or as a secondary water source
• Compatibility with your kit — check pockets, belts or holders for softflask fit
• Cleaning and drying method — wide opening aids hygiene but plan for full drying between uses
• Need for insulation or filtration — this softflask does not include thermal insulation or integrated filters

Usage recommendations

For best results, fill the HydraPak Flux with clean, potable water and carry it in a jacket pocket, running vest or bike jersey. Drink regularly to avoid carrying excess weight, rinse after each use, and store open to dry completely to prevent odours. Use a protective sleeve or mesh pocket if you plan to mount it in a bottle cage or to reduce abrasion during extended rides.
