Keyboard cap HyperX 519T9AA#ABA PBT replacement keycap — Pink
Keyboard cap HyperX 519T9AA#ABA PBT replacement keycap — Pink is a single replacement keycap designed for HyperX mechanical keyboards and other compatible mechanical gaming keyboards with a standard bottom row. Made from thermoplastic polyester (PBT) in a pink finish, this keycap provides improved resistance to wear, friction and solvents compared with typical ABS keycaps. The keycap uses HyperX’s shine-through font to allow keyboard backlighting to pass through, supporting illuminated key legends for everyday typing and gaming.
This PBT replacement keycap offers greater thickness and durability than standard keycaps, helping to reduce surface shine and prolong the usable appearance of frequently pressed keys. The shine-through font maintains legibility when backlighting is used, while the PBT material resists solvents and friction, making it suitable for extended use. A dedicated keycap removal tool is included to simplify removal and installation without risking switch damage.
Use the supplied keycap removal tool to gently pull the existing keycap straight up from the switch stem. Align the replacement HyperX PBT keycap with the switch stem and press down evenly until it snaps into place. Ensure the keycap is oriented correctly so the shine-through legend aligns with the backlight. For non-HyperX keyboards, verify bottom row compatibility before installation.
Clean switches and surrounding areas before installing the replacement keycap to avoid trapping debris. Avoid using strong solvents directly on PBT keycaps; if cleaning is needed, use a damp cloth with mild detergent and dry thoroughly. When removing multiple keycaps, label positions or photograph the keyboard layout to ensure correct reinstallation.
