How to use

Clean the male thread of the fitting to remove dirt, oil and old sealant. Hold the end of the tape against the thread and wind it clockwise around the male thread, overlapping each wrap by approximately half the tape width to ensure full coverage. Apply sufficient turns to cover the thread length, then press the tape into the threads with fingers to secure it. Assemble the joint by screwing the fittings together; the tape will form a thin compressible seal as the connection is tightened. For disassembly, remove the old tape and repeat application on reassembly.
