The ICY BOX IB-3640SU3 is a 3.5" HDD storage enclosure (JBOD) that holds up to four 3.5" SATA hard drives. It connects via USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B (up to 5 Gbit/s) or eSATA for fast data transfer, and its housing combines aluminium and plastic for durability. Tool-free drive trays allow mounting and hot-swapping of HDDs while the unit is powered on. A single 8 cm cooling fan and individual HDD LEDs provide temperature and activity information.

Advantages

The enclosure supports four drives in a JBOD configuration without screws and enables hot-swap replacement during operation.
