It provides tool-less installation for both 3.5" and 2.5" drives and includes features to tidy the front panel when installing a non‑I/O 3.5" device.

How to use

Slide the adapter into a free 5.25" front bay and secure it in the bay as you would a standard 5.25" device. For a 3.5" device or hard drive, slide it into the 3.5" bay until the Smart-Tip clicks to lock; for extra security use the optional side screws. Insert each 2.5" SSD or HDD into the dedicated slots; the built-in self-adjusting tabs will lock 7 mm–9.5 mm drives in place without tools. If you install a 3.5" device that has no front I/O, remove the rear plate and snap it into the front panel opening to cover the slot.

Usage recommendations

Install drives while the system is powered off and grounded. Use the optional side screws for additional fixation in systems subject to vibration. Ensure 2.5" drives meet the 7–9.5 mm height range for reliable tool-less locking.
