The Icy Dock MB882SP-1S-3B is a tool-less 3.5" carrier panel that converts any standard 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD (7mm–15mm) — and 2.5" SAS drives when used with an SAS host — into a drop-in 3.5" SATA form factor. Constructed from a single-piece ABS plastic body with perforated vents and an open-air frame, the converter is lightweight and designed to improve airflow and heat dissipation while providing secure mechanical support for the installed 2.5" drive.
