The ICY BOX IB-168SK-B is a 5.25" carrier panel for mounting a single 3.5" HDD into a desktop or server chassis. It installs into a standard 5.25" bay and allows tool-free, tray-less insertion and removal of a 3.5" hard drive. The front panel includes a mechanical lock for basic physical security, and the body is mainly metal with plastic and stainless steel components to combine rigidity and heat dissipation.

How to use

Insert the carrier panel into an empty 5.25" bay of your chassis and secure the front as required by your case. Slide a 3.5" HDD into the tray until the NSS SATA connector engages; no screws or tools are needed. Lock the front panel if physical access control is required. Connect power and SATA cables from the system to the drive as usual and power on the system. For removal, unlock (if applicable) and pull the drive out of the tray.
