Description

No tray = double the speed. This 5.25" mobile rack allows fast installation of SATA HDDs without screwing them to a tray, reducing installation time. It supports SATA I/II/III drives and requires a 5.25" bay in the PC.

Advantages

The mobile rack is made almost entirely of aluminium with plastic front and rear panels, providing light weight, stability and effective passive heat dissipation so a fan is generally unnecessary. A lock secures the drive to prevent unauthorized access, and an LED indicates HDD access and activity. A 12V fan can be installed separately if additional cooling is desired (fan not included).

How to use

Insert the mobile rack into an available 5.25" bay in the PC and secure it according to the drive bay guides. Slide a compatible 3.5" SATA HDD into the rack without using a tray, connect the internal SATA and power cables, then lock the front panel to prevent unauthorized removal. Monitor the LED for access and activity indications. If additional cooling is required, install a compatible 12V fan following the manufacturer's instructions (fan not supplied).
