The IB-1807MT-C31 is an external enclosure for M.2 NVMe SSDs that fits drives in common M.2 lengths from 2230 to 2280. The compact black housing is made of high-quality aluminium with plastic elements and provides tool-free installation. A USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) Type-C connection and the included Type-C cable with Type-A adapter enable fast data transfers. The enclosure supports PCIe (NVMe) M.2 SSDs and weighs approximately 0.09 kg.

Advantages

The aluminium housing offers improved heat dissipation and a robust shell for the SSD while remaining compact and lightweight. Tool-free installation with a latch mechanism allows quick mounting and removal of the drive. A hardware write-protect switch enables easy activation and deactivation of write protection to help prevent accidental data changes. How to use

Open the latch on the enclosure, place the M.2 NVMe SSD into the holder aligned with the connector and secure it according to the latch mechanism; no tools are required. Close the housing and connect it to a computer using the supplied USB Type-C cable or the Type-A adapter if needed. If required, set the hardware write-protect switch to the protected position to prevent writes, or turn it off to allow normal read/write access.
