The ICY BOX IB-1817MC-C31 Grey M.2 is an aluminium external SSD enclosure for a single M.2 drive. It supports both PCIe 3.0 (NVMe) and SATA III M.2 modules and connects to hosts via USB Type-C with USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) performance. The compact grey housing combines a cooling fin design, an internal heatsink and a silicone thermal pad to manage temperature during high-speed transfers. The enclosure also includes a mechanical write-protect switch that can be toggled with a supplied tool.
