iFixit Mahi Electronic Device Repair Tool Aluminium Bit Driver

The iFixit Mahi Electronic Device Repair Tool Aluminium Bit Driver is a precision-engineered accessory designed for meticulous maintenance work on various electronics, gadgets, computers, and small appliances. Featuring a custom CNC-machined solid aluminum driver handle, this tool provides the necessary strength and torque required for driving standard 1/4 inch screwdriver bits. Its robust construction ensures long-lasting durability, while the ergonomic design supports comfortable handling during detailed assembly and disassembly procedures.

Advantages

The driver features a magnetic bit socket that securely holds bits in place while allowing for quick and efficient bit swaps during complex repair tasks. The knurled grip surface enhances finger traction, enabling better application of torque without slipping. Additionally, the integrated swivel top promotes smooth, quick, and precise screw turning, reducing hand fatigue during prolonged repair sessions.

Suitable for

• Repairing electronic devices and gadgets
• Working on computers and laptops
• Maintaining small home appliances
• Driving and removing 1/4 inch screwdriver bits
• Detailed assembly and disassembly tasks

When it may not be suitable

This tool may not be suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications requiring high-impact force or specialized non-standard fasteners outside the scope of 1/4 inch bits. It is primarily designed for precision electronics and small appliance maintenance rather than large-scale construction work.

Key specifications

• Aluminum construction
• CNC-machined solid handle
• Magnetic bit socket
• Knurled grip
• Swivel top
• 1/4 inch bit compatibility

How to use

Select the appropriate 1/4 inch screwdriver bit and insert it into the magnetic socket of the driver handle, where it will be securely held in place.
