To install the cable gland, insert the threaded body through the pre-drilled hole in the enclosure wall and secure it firmly using the provided locknut. Once the gland is fixed in place, loosen the dome nut, pass the cable through the gland, and tighten the dome nut until the internal seal compresses securely around the cable jacket. Ensure all parts are tightened sufficiently to achieve the desired level of protection without over-tightening.
For optimal performance and safety, ensure that the cable is inserted straight and that the sealing nut is tightened evenly. Regularly inspect the gland during routine maintenance to ensure the seal remains intact and the cable is still firmly secured.
