Incobex M50 Cable Gland ENE-00425
The Incobex M50 cable gland is a robust and reliable component engineered for the secure entry of cables into electrical enclosures and panels. Designed to maintain the integrity of electrical systems, this gland provides essential strain relief and creates a dependable seal that protects internal components from external environmental factors. Its construction ensures that cables are firmly held in place, reducing the risk of mechanical stress on connections and preventing the ingress of dust and moisture.
This cable gland offers superior durability and long-term performance in demanding industrial and commercial environments. By providing a secure and tight fit, it effectively safeguards sensitive electrical equipment against environmental hazards, thereby extending the lifespan of the installation. The design facilitates quick and efficient assembly, ensuring that electrical panels remain sealed and compliant with safety standards while maintaining a clean and professional appearance for all cable entries.
This M50 cable gland is specifically sized for cables compatible with M50 threaded openings. It may not be suitable for applications requiring smaller or larger cable diameters, or for environments involving extreme chemical exposure that exceeds the material specifications of the gland.
To install the Incobex M50 cable gland, insert the threaded body through the pre-drilled hole in the enclosure wall and secure it firmly using the provided locknut. Once the gland is fixed in place, loosen the cap, insert the cable through the gland, and tighten the cap securely to compress the internal seal around the cable jacket. This process ensures a firm grip and a reliable environmental barrier.
For optimal performance and safety, ensure the cap is tightened sufficiently to create a complete seal, but avoid overtightening, which could damage the gland or the cable insulation. Regularly inspect the connection during routine maintenance to ensure the seal remains intact.
