The Infosec Zen-X 1000 is a Line-Interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with 1 kVA / 600 W capacity designed to protect computers, networking equipment and other sensitive electronics. The device combines UPS backup and surge protection, offers an LCD display for status monitoring, USB charging ports and protection for telephone/ADSL lines.

Advantages

Zen-X provides backup power to connected devices during short or extended outages and filters surges and lightning-induced spikes. Its Line-Interactive topology supplies a pseudo-sine output suitable for PCs, small servers and home electronics. The unit includes an LCD with audible alarms for easy control, USB charging ports for mobile devices and RJ11/45 connectors to protect telephone or ADSL lines. The compact 2-in-1 design supports wall mounting and includes cold-start and automatic restart functions.

How to use

Connect the UPS to mains power and plug your equipment into the protected AC outlets. Use the LCD to monitor status and alarms; a single on/off switch controls operation. If required, connect equipment to the RJ11/45 ports for telephone/ADSL line protection. Connect the UPS to a PC via the USB communication port to enable automatic safe shutdown during extended outages using the Megatec UPSILON 2000 software (software available for free download from the manufacturer’s website).
