Description

The Infosec X4 1000 RM Plus is a Line-Interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with a 1 kVA / 600 W capacity designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from mains disturbances and power outages. It includes a sealed 12 V 7 Ah lead-acid battery, an LCD display for status information, a USB Type-B communication port and a mix of IEC and Schuko/FR outlets. The rack-mount format allows easy integration into server racks and patch bays.

Advantages

Microprocessor-controlled Line-Interactive technology provides stable protection and, depending on connected load, the UPS can keep equipment running for up to 65 minutes. The built-in fast charger restores 90% battery capacity in about 4 hours, enabling rapid recharge between outages. Automatic restart, cold start capability and automatic battery recharging on mains return simplify operation. Additional protection for ADSL lines via RJ45 connectors and remote management through Infopower software via the USB port improve connectivity and control.

How to use

Install the UPS in a rack or on a stable surface, connect critical equipment to the AC outlets, and plug the UPS into the mains. Use the USB Type-B port to connect to a management PC and install Infopower software to enable remote monitoring and automatic shutdown of protected devices during prolonged outages. The LCD display indicates mode, battery level and load. In case of a power failure the UPS will switch to battery and supply connected devices; when mains power returns it will automatically recharge the battery and can restart connected equipment if configured to do so.
