InLine Clip Case is an ultra-compact magnetic USB-C SSD enclosure designed for M.2 2230 SATA III and NVMe SSDs up to 2 TB. The all-aluminium housing with dual cooling and shock-resistant design protects installed drives while enabling fast USB 3.2 Gen2 data transfers up to 10 Gb/s. Its tool-free, plug-and-play design and magnetic clip make it convenient for mobile use with smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop systems.

How to use

Open the housing by hand, insert a compatible M.2 2230 NVMe or SATA III SSD into the slot and close the enclosure; no tools or drivers are necessary. Connect the enclosure to a host device via the USB-C cable to access the drive. For iPhone models 12–14 an OTG adapter is required to connect and use the SSD; magnetic mounting works from iPhone 12 series onward. When connecting to a computer for the first time, the drive may require formatting to the desired file system before use.

Usage recommendations

Use high-quality M.2 2230 NVMe or SATA III SSDs within the supported capacity (up to 2 TB). Avoid exposing the enclosure to temperatures outside the 0–40 °C range. For sustained heavy write workloads, allow airflow around the aluminium body to assist cooling and maintain performance.
