InLine 10" Socket Strip with 4-Way Earthing Contact C14 Connection and 2m Cable in Black Aluminium

The InLine 10" Socket Strip with 4-Way Earthing Contact C14 Connection and 2m Cable in Black Aluminium is a reliable power distribution unit engineered for efficient energy management in compact IT environments. Designed specifically for 10-inch network cabinets and server racks, this socket strip combines a robust aluminium housing with functional design to deliver stable power to connected hardware. Featuring four earthing contact outlets and a standard C14 connector, it integrates seamlessly into professional network setups without taking up unnecessary space.

Advantages

This socket strip offers a sturdy construction utilising a combination of durable aluminium and high-quality plastic, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding server rooms. The outlets are rotated by 45 degrees, which facilitates the connection of angled plugs and bulky power supplies without blocking adjacent sockets. Its 1U rack capacity allows for straightforward horizontal mounting, saving valuable space within compact enclosures. Furthermore, the inclusion of a reliable 2-metre supply cable provides flexible positioning options for connecting to a UPS or other power sources.

Suitable for

• Power distribution in 10-inch network and server cabinets
• Connecting IT hardware to an uninterruptible power supply using a C14 plug
• Organised cable management in small office or home network setups
• Professional server rooms requiring space-saving 1U rack-mountable power solutions

When it may not be suitable

This power distribution unit is not designed for standalone desktop use where rack mounting is not utilised, as it is specifically engineered for 10-inch enclosures. Additionally, it lacks high-capacity industrial power ratings, making it unsuitable for heavy-duty machinery or high-draw appliances exceeding its total load limit.

Key specifications

• 4 AC earthing contact outlets
• C14 power plug connection
• Rack capacity: 1U
• Housing material: Aluminium and plastic
• Cable length: 2 metres
• Colour: Black
• Maximum total load: 2500W

How to use

Mount the socket strip securely within a compatible 10-inch network cabinet or rack utilizing the 1U space. Ensure that the rack provides adequate clearance and ventilation for the connected cables. Plug the integrated C14 power cable directly into a compatible power source, such as a UPS or a PDU with C13 outlets. Connect up to four individual devices into the earthing contact AC outlets, ensuring that the combined power draw of all connected equipment does not exceed the maximum load capacity.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your network cabinet or rack supports 10-inch equipment mounting dimensions.
• Check the total power consumption of your devices to ensure it remains within the maximum load limit.
• Confirm that your existing power source or UPS is equipped with a compatible C13 or C14 output connection.

Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the power cable and housing for any signs of wear. Do not daisy-chain this socket strip with other power strips to maintain electrical safety and prevent overload conditions.
