It supports 3D content, an Ethernet channel for networked HDMI devices, and an Audio Return Channel (ARC) for sending audio from a TV to an AV receiver. The cable has gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resistance to corrosion and is suitable for Full HD and first‑generation 4K devices up to 4Kx2K at 30 Hz.
