InLine 18741 telephone cable RJ-12 male to RJ-12 male 1 m grey 6P6C round modular

The InLine telephone cable is a reliable modular round cable designed for secure signal transmission in telecommunication and data applications. Featuring RJ-12 male connectors on both ends and a length of 1 m, this grey round cable provides a practical solution for connecting compatible communication devices, control systems, and regulatory units. Built with pure copper conductors in an AWG 26 cross-section, it ensures low line resistance and stable performance, making it a dependable choice for both home and office environments.

Advantages

This InLine telephone cable utilizes pure copper conductors to minimize line resistance and maintain consistent signal quality across connected devices. The round cable design allows for much easier and cleaner routing compared to standard flat cables, facilitating neat cable management in tight spaces or structured setups. Molded RJ-12 connectors provide enhanced mechanical strength and protect the connection points against wear from frequent plugging and unplugging. Furthermore, the fully pinned 6P6C wiring layout supports all six contacts, ensuring complete compatibility with applications requiring full signal path allocation.

Suitable for

• Connecting traditional desktop telephones and fax machines
• Linking devices in telecommunication and communication systems
• Signal transmission in control and regulation systems
• Modular data applications and sensor technology installations

This cable may not be suitable if you require a reach significantly longer than 1 m, as it is strictly designed for short-distance connections between nearby devices. It is also not intended for high-speed Ethernet networking or situations requiring standard RJ-45 LAN connectors.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector 1: RJ-12 male
• Connector 2: RJ-12 male
• Pinout: 6P6C, 6-wire full pinout
• Cable shape: Round
• Conductor material: Pure copper
• Conductor cross-section: AWG 26
• Diameter: 4.3 mm
• Weight: 30 g
• Colour: Grey (RAL 7035)

To use the InLine telephone cable, simply insert the RJ-12 male connector at one end into the designated modular port of your telephone, control unit, or compatible communication device until it clicks securely into place. Route the round cable carefully along your desk, wall, or structured cable pathway, avoiding sharp bends or excessive pulling forces. Then, insert the remaining RJ-12 connector into the corresponding port of the second device to establish the connection.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your devices feature standard RJ-12 6P6C ports rather than RJ-11 or RJ-45 sockets
• Confirm that the 1 m length is sufficient to bridge the distance between your connected hardware
• Check if your specific application requires a 6-wire fully pinned configuration

Usage recommendations: Inspect the modular connectors periodically for dust or debris to ensure uninterrupted signal transmission. Avoid placing heavy furniture directly on the round cable to prevent internal conductor damage and maintain optimal mechanical longevity.
