Drive bay panel InLine 33456C
The InLine 33456C 3.5" drive bay front panel provides four high-speed front-facing USB ports — two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 — with per-port transfer rates up to 10 Gb/s. It installs into a standard 3.5" drive bay and connects to the host system via an internal USB Type-E header and a SATA power connector. The metal housing and integrated VL822 chipset are designed for continuous operation in workstations, industrial PCs and IT service stations, while built-in overvoltage and overcurrent protection increases operational reliability. The module supports plug & play use under Windows and Linux.
The metal housing offers robust mechanical protection and fits standard 3.5" drive bays. Two USB-A and two USB-C ports support USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s) for fast data transfers with external SSDs and other high-speed peripherals. Direct connection via a USB Type-E header plus SATA power supplies stable power for devices with higher consumption. Integrated VL822 chipset and built-in protection against overvoltage and overcurrent increase reliability in demanding environments. Driverless Plug & Play support for Windows and Linux simplifies installation and first use.
Install the panel into a free 3.5" drive bay and secure it with the supplied screws. Connect the internal USB Type-E cable to the motherboard header and attach the SATA 15-pin power connector to the system power supply to provide stable power to connected devices. After power-up the panel is recognised automatically under Windows and Linux without additional drivers; connect USB devices to the front USB-A or USB-C ports for immediate use.
For stable operation with high-power USB devices and multiple simultaneous connections, ensure the SATA power connector is connected to the power supply. Avoid exposure to temperatures outside the specified operating range and mount the panel in a properly ventilated chassis.
