InLine Electrical Tape Black 18mm x 18m

The InLine Electrical Tape Black 18mm x 18m is designed for reliable electrical insulation, wire bundling, and general maintenance tasks in home, automotive, and professional applications. This black insulating tape supports you in electrical insulation work, in protecting and bundling cables, and in quick repairs. The robust, abrasion-resistant design is resistant to UV radiation, weather, solvents, and alkaline acids. Thanks to a width of 18 mm, clean wraps are easy, and the length of 18 m provides sufficient reserve for recurring tasks. In daily use for on-site installations, in service, and in existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions, the black version provides discreet results. In the workshop and for hobby use, you also benefit from a reliable solution for electrical applications and maintenance work.

Advantages

The insulating tape provides reliable electrical insulation for various repair and installation projects. It is durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use due to its resistance against UV radiation, weather conditions, solvents, and alkaline acids. The generous 18-meter length allows for efficient work without frequent tape changes during recurring tasks, while the 18 mm width ensures clean wraps and precise coverage. Additionally, the black color blends discreetly into existing installations for a neat appearance.

Suitable for

• Electrical insulation and wire repairs
• Cable bundling and harness creation
• General maintenance tasks at home and in workshops
• Automotive and on-site professional installations

When it may not be suitable

This electrical tape may not be suitable for high-temperature industrial environments that exceed the standard thermal limits of typical PVC insulating materials. It is also not recommended for permanent structural load-bearing applications or for sealing high-pressure fluid and gas lines.

Key specifications

• Type: Insulating tape
• Width: 18 mm
• Length: 18 m
• Thickness: 0.18 mm
• Color: Black
• Resistance: UV radiation, weather, solvents, alkaline acids

How to use

Ensure the surface or wires to be wrapped are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or oil before application. Unroll the tape while maintaining firm tension to ensure a tight and secure wrap around the cables or joints. Overlap each previous layer by about half the width of the tape to create a uniform and protective insulating barrier. Finish the application by cutting or tearing the tape and pressing the end firmly down to prevent unravelling.

What to consider before purchase

• Check the required temperature and voltage ratings for your specific electrical application
• Verify if the 18 mm width and 18 m length match the scale of your intended project
• Consider whether the black color fits your aesthetic or visibility requirements for cable management

Store the electrical tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the adhesive properties and material flexibility over time.
