Cable gland InLine 3.5–6 mm nylon IP68, black, pack of 10
Cable gland InLine 3.5–6 mm nylon IP68, black, pack of 10
InLine nylon in-line cable gland for cables with diameters from 3.5 to 6 mm provides an IP68-rated seal for watertight and dustproof cable entry. The gland is made from durable nylon with a neoprene sealing ring to maintain ingress protection in wet and outdoor environments. Supplied as a pack of 10 black pieces, this cable gland is designed for installation in electrical enclosures, junction boxes and similar housings where a compact, reliable cable feed-through is required.
The nylon construction ensures mechanical resilience and resistance to common environmental stresses while remaining lightweight. The neoprene seal delivers long-lasting elasticity for a secure fit around cable sheaths from 3.5 to 6 mm, maintaining IP68 protection against dust and temporary submersion. Supplied in a multi-pack of ten pieces, the product is suited to multiple installations or spare-part stocking and features a compact in-line design for simple retrofitting into existing entries.
Drill or use an existing cable entry hole compatible with the gland body, insert the gland into the panel or enclosure wall, and secure it according to the enclosure’s mounting method. Pass the cable through the gland and tighten the outer nut or locking mechanism until the neoprene seal compresses around the cable sheath to form a watertight and dustproof seal. Ensure the cable diameter is within the specified 3.5–6 mm range to achieve proper sealing performance.
For best results, inspect the neoprene seal before installation for damage and select a gland position that avoids excessive bending or mechanical strain on the cable. When used outdoors or in marine environments, periodically check seals and surrounding enclosure fittings for wear and replace glands if the seal shows signs of degradation.
