The InLine® USB 3.2 Gen.1 Extender allows USB signals to be extended over a single RJ45 copper cable with a range of up to 100 m. The system consists of a main unit as a transmitter and a receiver and operates as a fixed point-to-point connection without integration into active network components.
With a maximum data rate of up to 5 Gb/s, the extender supports isochronous, bulk and interrupt USB transfer types and is suitable for performance-intensive applications. In addition, RS-232 control signals and FSYNC signals with 5 V are transmitted transparently. The signals are not evaluated or influenced.
Power can be supplied either via the external power supply unit supplied or via Power over Cable. The PoC function works bidirectionally with 24 V and a maximum power of 40 W. This means that one device unit is sufficient for the power supply.
Four USB ports are available on the receiver. USB ports 1 and 2 supply up to 5 V / 1.5 A. USB ports 3 and 4 supply up to 5 V / 1.0 A.
