The InLine Interface card 8x SATA 6Gb/s controller PCIe 2.0 allows connection of up to eight SATA drives (HDD or SSD) to a single PCI-Express slot. It expands storage capacity when onboard SATA ports are insufficient and is suitable for systems that require many drives. The card uses an ASM1182E bridge with two ASM1064 controllers and supports SATA 6Gb/s transfer rates while remaining backward compatible with SATA 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s devices.
