PCIe x1 interface card with 4x RS-232 ports for reliable serial communication
Four serial interfaces:Extends compatible computer systems with four RS-232 ports and enables the simultaneous operation of multiple serial devices.
Reliable data transmission:The ASIX AX99100 controller supports full modem control signals, hardware and software flow control, and a 256-byte FIFO buffer per port for stable communication.
Flexible integration:The PCI Express x1 interface is compatible with x1, x4, x8 and x16 slots, enabling easy retrofitting of existing systems.
Versatile configuration:Freely configurable baud rates and extensive setting options for data bits and parity support a wide variety of serial applications.
Space-saving installation:Thanks to the low-profile slot brackets supplied, the card is also suitable for compact computer systems.
The InLine® PCIe x1 interface card adds four RS-232 interfaces to compatible computer systems and enables the reliable simultaneous operation of multiple serial devices. The card can be easily integrated into desktop PCs, industrial PCs or workstations via the PCI Express x1 interface. It is also compatible with PCIe x4, x8 and x16 slots.
The integrated ASIX AX99100 controller supports full RS-232 modem control signals as well as hardware and software flow control. A 256-byte FIFO transmit and receive buffer per port ensures stable data transmission. Freely configurable baud rates and extensive setting options for data bits and parity allow the card to be adapted to different communication requirements.
The interface card is suitable for connecting traditional serial devices such as PLCs, measurement and test systems, modems, barcode scanners, point-of-sale systems, laboratory equipment or embedded systems. The included low-profile slot brackets also allow for use in compact enclosures.
