Mounting clamp for Insta360 cameras – Crab Clamp (model CINSFAVP)

Crab Clamp by Insta360 is a compact mounting clamp designed to securely attach Insta360 cameras to a variety of surfaces and fixtures. Supplied under model CINSFAVP, the clamp provides a firm grip for on-the-go shooting and allows quick repositioning on poles, rails, tubes and other structural elements without the need for complex tools. Its compact construction and adjustable jaws make it suitable for travel, action and POV recording where flexible mounting points are required.

Advantages

The Crab Clamp delivers a stable and repeatable mounting solution that prevents unwanted movement during capture while remaining lightweight and easy to carry. The adjustable clamp mechanism accommodates different diameters and shapes, and the mounting interface is designed to align with Insta360 camera housings and accessory threads. The clamp’s build balances grip strength with surface protection to reduce the risk of scratching or crushing mounted objects.

Suitable for

• Attaching Insta360 cameras to bike and scooter handlebars
• Mounting on poles, railings and tubing during travel or outdoor activities
• Attaching to tripods, light stands or rigs with compatible fixture points
• POV and action shots where compact, quick mounts are needed

Key specifications

• Compact clamp body for easy transport and storage
• Adjustable jaws to fit a range of diameters and profiles
• Secure mounting interface compatible with Insta360 camera housings and accessory threads
• Material designed for a balance of grip and surface protection

How to use

Open the adjustable jaws and position the clamp around the target surface, such as a pole or railing. Tighten the clamp until it holds firmly without causing damage to the surface. Attach the Insta360 camera to the clamp’s mounting interface, checking alignment and angle before starting capture. For repositioning, loosen the clamp, move to the new position and retighten. Ensure the camera is secured and perform a quick stability check before recording.

Usage recommendations

For best results, use the Crab Clamp on clean, dry surfaces and avoid overtightening on thin or fragile materials. Periodically inspect the clamp’s contact surfaces and tightening mechanism for wear or debris. When mounting on moving vehicles, double-check alignment and tightness before each session.
