The Intel 400 GB 2.5" SATA SSD (SSDSC2BX400G401) is a data center–class solid-state drive in a 2.5-inch SATA form factor, offering 400 GB of usable capacity and consistent performance for enterprise workloads. Designed for applications requiring sustained I/O and low latency, the drive combines Intel NAND flash, firmware features and on-board power-loss protection to help preserve data integrity and extend device lifetime.

Advantages

Enhanced Power Loss Data Protection reduces the risk of data corruption during unexpected power failures by minimizing data held in temporary buffers and using on-board capacitance to provide enough energy for firmware to flush buffered data to NAND. High Endurance Technology (HET) integrates NAND silicon enhancements and SSD management techniques to increase write endurance over the device lifetime. Temperature Monitoring and Logging tracks internal and airflow temperatures and exposes results via SMART for maintenance and diagnostics.
