The Intellinet AV transmitter H.264 HDMI Over IP Video Wall Extender (model 208338) transmits H.264-compressed 1080p HDMI signals over a local IP network up to 500 m (1,640 ft.). Designed for video wall and distributed AV installations, the powered transmitter supports unicast and multicast routing, full LPCM audio and an HDMI loop-out for a local display. The compact unit follows HDMI and Ethernet standards and includes an HDMI cable; it operates from 100–240 V AC and measures 87.2 x 88 x 27 mm.

Advantages

The transmitter reduces bandwidth requirements by sending an H.264-compressed stream while preserving 1080p video and LPCM audio quality. How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter's HDMI input and, if needed, attach a local monitor to the HDMI loop-out. Link the transmitter to your network switch using Ethernet cabling and power the unit via its AC adapter or use PoE when available. Configure the transmitter and receivers using the rotary channel switch for basic pairing or access the web GUI for advanced routing, multicast/unicast settings and IR control mapping. Add up to 246 compatible receivers to a single transmitter or distribute multiple transmitters across the network as required.

Usage recommendations

For optimal video quality and reliable operation, use quality Cat5e/6 cabling, a managed network switch that supports multicast traffic, and ensure firmware is up to date. Place the transmitter near the source device and verify IR line-of-sight if remote control of source or display is needed.
