Managed Switch Intellinet 48-Port Gigabit Ethernet 561334
The Intellinet 48-Port Gigabit Ethernet Web-Managed Switch (561334) is a Layer 2 managed network switch that provides 48 x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and 4 Gigabit SFP ports. Designed for small and medium enterprises or branch office networks, it delivers a switching capacity of 104 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 8000 entries. The switch supports Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) and a broad set of management and protocol features for flexible, reliable edge connectivity and traffic control.
This managed switch combines a high port density with web- and SNMP-based management, enabling remote monitoring and configuration through a browser or management station. It supports QoS, VLAN, ACL, RMON and port aggregation for traffic prioritization and segmentation, plus port mirroring and MAC filtering for diagnostics and security. Energy-saving features reduce power consumption on idle or long cable links, while four dedicated SFP ports expand connectivity to fibre links for longer distances.
Install the switch in a rack or on a stable surface and connect power according to your site electrical requirements. Attach Ethernet devices to the RJ45 ports and insert SFP modules into the SFP slots if fibre uplinks are required. Access the Web-based GUI through a browser or configure the device via an SNMP/Telnet management station. Use the management interface to create VLANs, assign QoS policies, configure ACLs and set up link aggregation or port mirroring as required for your network topology. Monitor port status and log events to assist with troubleshooting and performance tuning.
For optimal performance, group traffic-sensitive services onto dedicated VLANs and enable QoS to prioritise voice and critical application traffic. Use the SFP ports for uplinks to distribution or core switches to reduce latency and extend reach. Enable Energy Efficient Ethernet where supported by connected devices to reduce power consumption, and apply MAC filtering and ACLs to limit access to management interfaces.
