INTELLINET DIN Rail Mount for 19-inch Rack Cabinets

The INTELLINET DIN Rail Mount for 19-inch Rack Cabinets provides a reliable and professional solution for integrating DIN rail-mounted equipment into standard server rack environments. This mounting accessory is engineered to bridge the gap between industrial hardware and standard networking infrastructure, allowing for the seamless installation of devices such as industrial switches, power supplies, and terminal blocks within a 19-inch rack space.

Advantages

This mount offers exceptional versatility by enabling the consolidation of diverse industrial components into a centralized rack system. Its robust construction ensures that heavy-duty equipment remains securely fastened, minimizing vibrations and potential hardware displacement. By utilizing this mount, users can achieve a more organized cabinet layout, which significantly improves airflow, simplifies cable management, and facilitates easier maintenance of industrial automation or networking setups.

Suitable for

• Industrial automation systems
• Networking equipment requiring DIN rail mounting
• Power supply units and converters
• Terminal blocks and control relays

When it may not be suitable

This mount is specifically designed for 19-inch rack cabinets and may not be compatible with non-standard enclosures or wall-mount brackets that lack the necessary depth or mounting rails. It is also not intended for equipment that exceeds the weight capacity of the rack or the mount itself.

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Standard 19-inch rack cabinets
• Mounting type: DIN rail
• Material: Durable metal construction
• Application: Industrial and networking hardware integration

How to use

To install the mount, align the unit with the vertical mounting rails of your 19-inch rack cabinet. Secure the mount using appropriate rack screws at the desired height. Once the mount is firmly attached to the rack, snap your DIN rail-compatible devices onto the integrated rail. Ensure that all cables are routed neatly to prevent strain on the connections and to maintain proper ventilation within the cabinet.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the depth of your rack cabinet to ensure sufficient clearance.
• Check the total weight of the equipment to be mounted against the rack's load capacity.
• Ensure the equipment is compatible with standard DIN rail dimensions.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance and safety, ensure that the DIN rail mount is installed in a well-ventilated area of the rack to prevent heat buildup from industrial power supplies or switches. Regularly inspect the mounting screws to ensure they remain tight, especially in environments subject to vibration.
