Cooler Dynatron Argus SU-260 Processor 12 cm Black Orange
The Dynatron Argus SU-260 is a 12 cm processor cooler designed for compact PC builds that require reliable thermal management. With a black and orange finish, the cooler combines a 120 mm fan, a rated Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 150 W and a compact footprint of 127 mm (W) x 83 mm (D) x 155 mm (H). The fan operates between 600 and 1400 RPM, providing an airflow of 59.47 m³/h and a maximum air pressure of 0.5 mmH2O to maintain stable CPU temperatures in space-constrained systems.
The Argus SU-260 delivers efficient cooling performance within a small form factor, suitable for mini-ITX and micro-ATX enclosures where clearance is limited. Its 120 mm fan speed range balances quiet operation at low loads and increased airflow under higher loads. The black and orange styling offers a distinctive visual accent while remaining compatible with a variety of motherboard and case color schemes. Compatibility across a wide range of processor sockets supports flexible upgrades without needing a new cooler.
Mount the cooler on the CPU according to the motherboard socket type, following the included mounting brackets and user manual. Ensure the motherboard is placed on a static-free surface and that thermal compound is applied to the CPU heat spreader before seating the cooler. Connect the fan cable to the CPU_FAN or system fan header and verify BIOS fan control settings after first power-on. Confirm there is adequate clearance around memory modules and case panels to avoid contact with the cooler.
For optimal performance, use the cooler in cases with at least one intake and one exhaust fan to maintain positive airflow. Clean the fan and heatsink fins periodically to prevent dust buildup, and verify mounting torque is even across the retention points to ensure proper contact with the CPU heat spreader.
