Case Inter-Tech 88887361 development board accessory
The INTER-TECH ODS-727 case is designed for the Raspberry Pi 4 (model B). Constructed from a high-quality aluminum alloy, the enclosure improves passive heat dissipation and includes two integrated heat conductors that make direct contact with the CPU and RAM. The case has ventilation openings at the front and rear and comes with a pre-installed 30 mm fan for active cooling. An internal adapter plate relocates external connections to the back of the case for a neat setup, while the GPIO pins remain accessible under a magnetic top cover; the GPIO pinout is printed beneath that cover. A programmable power switch supports scripted safe shutdown, restart or forced shutdown, and boot behavior can be controlled manually or via an internal jumper.
The aluminum alloy body and two heat conductors provide improved thermal management for the Raspberry Pi 4, and the included 30 mm fan offers additional active cooling. Rear-facing ports created by the adapter plate help keep cables organized and the magnetic top cover gives easy access to GPIOs with a printed pinout for reference. The configurable power switch and jumper-controlled boot options allow flexible power management and shutdown behavior without altering the board.
Install your Raspberry Pi 4 (model B) into the case by securing it to the internal mounting points and connecting the integrated heat conductors to the CPU and RAM as shown in the instructions. Connect required cables to the rear-mounted ports provided by the adapter plate. Use the magnetic top cover to access GPIO pins when needed. Configure the power switch behavior with a one-line script on the Raspberry Pi to enable safe shutdown, restart or forced shutdown. Set the internal jumper pins to select manual or automatic boot according to your needs.
For reliable thermal performance, ensure the case’s ventilation openings are not obstructed and maintain regular airflow around the pre-installed 30 mm fan; when used in enclosed racks or heated environments, monitor system temperature and consider additional ventilation if necessary.
