Mounting Rails / Brackets for 3.5" HDDs Intos – metal, yellow
Mounting rails / brackets for 3.5" HDDs by Intos provide a metal support solution for installing standard 3.5-inch hard disk drives into compatible enclosures or drive bays. Finished in yellow, this pair of metal brackets is designed to attach to a 3.5" HDD and secure it for insertion into a free 5.25" slot in a PC case, server cabinet or storage chassis. The set includes two metal brackets and mounting screws for stable alignment, retention and easy removal of the drive when required.
The metal construction gives durable support and reduces drive movement inside the bay, while the included screws allow immediate installation without sourcing additional fasteners. The brackets are sized for standard 3.5" HDDs and prepared to fit into a 5.25" slot, enabling use in a variety of desktop cases, server racks and storage enclosures. The yellow finish aids visual identification during installation and maintenance.
Align the brackets with the screw holes on the sides of the 3.5" hard drive and fasten them using the supplied screws. Slide the assembled drive and bracket into the free 5.25" bay of the PC case or enclosure until it seats securely, then fasten the bracket assembly to the bay using the case's mounting points. Connect the power and data cables to the drive and verify proper seating. To remove the drive, disconnect cables, loosen the bay fasteners and slide the assembly out.
Use the brackets in compatible 5.25" bays only and ensure screws are tightened to a firm but not excessive torque to avoid stripping threads. For systems with vibration concerns, verify that drive mounts include appropriate dampening or add rubber grommets separately. Handle the drive carefully during installation to avoid static discharge and mechanical shock.
