The iStorage diskAshur2 is a portable, hardware-encrypted external hard drive with 1 TB capacity and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. It provides real-time AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption and a PIN-authenticated keypad (7–15 digits) for secure access without the need for software. How to use

Connect the diskAshur2 to a device using a USB port. Enter your personal 7–15 digit PIN on the onboard keypad to unlock the drive; no software installation is required. Once unlocked, the drive behaves like a standard external HDD and can be used to transfer, open and save files. To secure the drive, disconnect it and the device will relock automatically after removal or when powered down.

Usage recommendations

Set a unique PIN between 7 and 15 digits and store it separately from the drive. Regularly back up important data to an additional secure location. Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or physical tampering to preserve the effectiveness of the built-in security features.
