SSD drive iStorage 128GB 2.5" USB 3.2 IS-DA2-256-SSD-128-B
The iStorage diskAshur2 is a 128GB portable SSD in a 2.5" form factor with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. It combines solid-state performance—up to 362 MB/s read and 358 MB/s write—with integrated hardware encryption for secure transport and storage of sensitive data. The drive uses real-time AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption and a PIN-authenticated keypad, providing a software-free, platform-independent solution that works with any device that has a USB port.
The drive provides hardware-based AES-XTS 256-bit encryption and a dedicated secure microprocessor that defends against tampering and bypass attempts. It supports a 7–15-digit user PIN entered on the built-in keypad, eliminating reliance on host software and reducing attack surfaces. With USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity and compact 2.5" dimensions in a black enclosure, the unit balances performance, portability and strong data protection for transport and backup.
Connect the SSD to any device with a USB port using the provided cable. Power is supplied over USB, no external adapter is required. On first use, set a unique 7–15 digit PIN via the onboard keypad; the drive requires no additional software for setup or operation. Enter your PIN on the keypad each time you connect the drive to unlock access to the encrypted volume. If the incorrect PIN is entered repeatedly, the drive’s security features will respond according to its built-in protection policy.
Choose a PIN that is not easily guessable and store it separately from the drive. Regularly back up important encrypted data to a secondary secure location. Use the drive’s hardware encryption and PIN authentication when transporting sensitive information and ensure you disconnect the device when not in use to maintain data confidentiality.
