The iStorage diskAshur PRO2 SSD drive 2TB (2.5" USB 3.2) is a hardware-encrypted portable solid state drive offering real-time AES-XTS 256-bit encryption and PIN authentication. It is a software-free device with USB Type-A connectivity (USB 3.2 Gen 1) delivering high transfer speeds (read up to 361 MB/s, write up to 358 MB/s) and platform independence across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Chrome and other USB-equipped systems. The drive includes a physical keypad for a unique 7–15 digit PIN and incorporates a dedicated secure microprocessor with physical protections against tamper and bypass attacks.

How to use

Connect the diskAshur PRO2 to a USB port using the integrated USB Type-A connector. Power is supplied by the host device—no drivers or software installation are required. Set and enter a unique 7–15 digit PIN on the device keypad to unlock the drive; once authenticated the drive mounts normally and can be used like any external SSD. After use, power down or safely eject the drive and it will automatically lock, requiring the PIN for subsequent access.

Choose a PIN of sufficient length (7–15 digits) that is not easily guessable. Keep a secure record of the PIN in a separate, protected location; if the PIN is lost and the device enforces lockdown, data recovery will not be possible without the PIN.
