The Jabra BIZ 2300 Mono NC is a wired, single-ear headset designed for office and call centre environments. It combines noise-cancelling microphone technology with balanced audio to ensure clear voice pickup and reduced background noise. The headset connects via a Quick Disconnect (QD) plug compatible with Siemens OpenStage telephones and similar deskphone systems, and features a lightweight design (49 g) with a 1.075 m cable for reliable daily use.
The headset offers focused mono listening with a noise-cancelling microphone that improves call clarity in busy workspaces. Its balanced audio provides consistent sound quality for speech, while the QD connector allows instant compatibility with a variety of desk phones. The lightweight construction and ergonomic headband support comfortable wear over long shifts, and the durable build is intended for intensive call-centre use.
Connect the QD plug to a compatible Siemens OpenStage telephone or another deskphone with the appropriate adapter. Place the headband over your head and position the earcup on one ear for mono listening. Adjust the microphone boom so the noise-cancelling microphone sits close to the corner of your mouth but not touching the lips. Use the cable to route the connection neatly to your handset base or headset port to avoid strain on the connector.
For optimum voice clarity, position the noise-cancelling microphone 1–2 cm from the mouth and perform a quick sound check at the start of each shift. Store the headset in a protective place when not in use to prolong durability; avoid sharp bends in the cable.

Specially designed “air shock” noise-cancelling mic filters out sharp breathing sounds and popping noises often heard in conversations.
When the microphone is close to the mouth of the user, there is a risk of respiratory noise. To reduce this, the microphone is designed aerodynamically and with many small holes instead of one larger hole. In addition, foam is included on the inside of the microphone. Overall, it reduces the penetration of air shocks to the microphone, which optimises the call quality.
