The Jabra Evolve2 40 USB-A UC Mono is a wired supra-aural headset designed for office and call-centre environments. Its isolating foam oval ear cushions and angled earcup design deliver strong passive noise cancellation so background sound is reduced while you work. The headset includes a highly visible multi-directional busylight that activates automatically during calls or meetings and can be turned on manually. Three professional microphones, an advanced digital chipset and updated signal processing ensure reliable call performance. The headset is UC-certified for compatibility with major Unified Communications platforms and is available in a Microsoft Teams–certified variant for optimized Teams use. Powered 40 mm speakers and an improved digital chipset provide enhanced music playback, while memory-foam cushions and a shape based on biometric head measurements increase wearing comfort. Firmware updates and software support are provided via Jabra Direct.
Passive noise cancellation through foam oval ear cushions and an angled earcup design reduces ambient noise without active electronics. A 360° visible busylight signals call status to colleagues, helping prevent interruptions. Three strategically placed professional microphones combined with an advanced digital chipset and signal processing deliver clear voice capture for professional calls. UC certification ensures seamless operation with leading collaboration platforms, and a Teams-certified variant is available for Microsoft Teams optimization. Durable materials, memory-foam cushions and a shape informed by biometric data improve long-term comfort. Jabra Direct keeps firmware and compatibility up to date.
Connect the headset to a PC or compatible device using the included USB-A connector. Place the headband over your head and position the oval foam ear cushion over the ear for a snug fit; the memory foam will conform to your ear shape. Use the inline controls (if present) to answer or end calls and to adjust volume. The busylight will activate automatically when you are on a call or in a meeting; you can also toggle it manually using the headset control. Install Jabra Direct on your computer to manage firmware updates, configuration and platform-specific settings.
For best call performance, position the boom/microphone toward your mouth without touching it, keep the ear cushions clean and avoid obstructing the microphone area. Use Jabra Direct to install firmware updates and, if you use Microsoft Teams, select the Teams-certified variant for optimized integration.
