Learning Toy Janod J04064 Multicolour MDF Metal Plywood Rubberwood
The Janod J04064 learning toy box is a set of four wooden early-learning toys designed for children aged 18 months and older. Made from MDF, plywood, rubberwood and metal parts, the kit encourages exploration of movement, sounds and basic object manipulation. The set includes a pull-along mother turtle with a removable baby turtle, six fish-shaped threading beads with a cord and wooden guide, a musical activity stand with three different sound-making elements, and a four-piece wooden puzzle with colour-coded positions on the board. The toys are FSC™-certified and come with a leaflet explaining how the activities support early development.
The Janod learning box groups several developmentally appropriate activities in one durable wooden set to support fine motor skills, auditory discovery and early vocabulary. Products are made from mixed wood materials with attention to safety for toddlers and include a removable component on the pull toy and a guiding bead cord to simplify threading. The included leaflet describes activity ideas tied to psychomotor development for children around 18 months.
Provide the individual toys to the child one at a time or together, depending on their interest. Use the pull-along turtle to encourage walking by letting the child pull the string or hold the shell; remove the baby turtle for hand-held play. Present the fish-shaped beads with the cord and show the child how to pass beads along the guide to practise threading and hand-eye coordination. Demonstrate the musical stand so the child can hear the clicking, grinding and tweeting sounds and experiment with repeated manipulation. For the puzzle, model placing each coloured piece into its matching board position before asking the child to try independently.
Always supervise children during play. Regularly check wooden parts, cords and connectors for wear or damage and remove the toy if any component becomes unsafe. Follow the leaflet instructions included in the box to adapt activities to your child’s developmental pace.
