Activity Table Janod J08018 Baby Forest

The Janod J08018 Baby Forest Activity Table is a wooden play surface designed for toddlers to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early problem-solving. Bright forest-themed graphics and a range of mechanical features — including spinning gears, sliding animal pieces, and a small maze — provide varied tactile and visual stimulation in a compact tabletop format suitable for playrooms and nurseries.

Advantages

Constructed from high-quality wood with smooth, child-safe finishes, the activity table offers stable support and rounded edges to reduce the risk of injury. The integrated activities are built to withstand frequent use while remaining lightweight enough to move between rooms. Its woodland design and contrasting colors help attract attention and support focused play sessions.

Suitable for

• Developing fine motor skills and dexterity
• Encouraging exploratory and sensory play
• Interactive play for one or two toddlers
• Use in playrooms, nurseries, daycare settings, or early learning spaces

Key specifications

• Material: solid and engineered wood with child-safe paint
• Surface finish: smooth, non-toxic coating
• Interactive elements: gears, sliding pieces, maze
• Design theme: forest/animal illustrations and contrasting colors
• Assembly: simple assembly of legs to tabletop (tools may be required)

How to use

Place the activity table on a flat, stable surface and check that all parts are firmly assembled before allowing a child to play. Introduce each activity one at a time — demonstrate how to turn gears, push sliders and navigate the maze — to help the child discover cause-and-effect relationships. Supervise use for toddlers to ensure safe play and to encourage sharing and cooperative interactions when more than one child uses the table.

Usage recommendations

Regularly inspect the table for loose parts or damaged finishes. Clean the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking or abrasive cleaners. Store indoors and away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colors and wood quality. Follow the manufacturer’s age guidance and supervise children during play.
