Eyecup / Eyepiece JJC EP-15/EP-16 for Olympus OM-D E‑M5, E‑M10 Mark II/III
Replacement eyecup designed for Olympus OM-D mirrorless cameras E-M5 and E-M10 Mark II / Mark III. The eyecup fits the camera's viewfinder opening to provide comfortable eye placement, reduce stray light entering the viewfinder and assist in more accurate framing and focusing when using the electronic viewfinder. It is intended as a spare or replacement eyepiece for photographers who need improved eye contact with the viewfinder or a simple, durable eyecup solution.
The eyecup offers soft but firm cushioning around the viewfinder to increase comfort during extended shooting sessions and to stabilize the eye position for steadier composition. By blocking side light it helps the camera's electronic viewfinder display appear clearer and reduces distractions from reflections or glare. The design is compact and easy to attach or remove, making it suitable for quick replacement in the field without tools.
Align the eyecup with the camera viewfinder opening and press gently until it snaps or slides into place according to the camera's eyepiece recess. To remove, hold the eyecup at the edges and pull outward with steady pressure until it disengages. Use the eyecup when shooting with the electronic viewfinder to reduce stray light and to stabilize eye placement; when not needed, remove and store it in a padded compartment to avoid deformation.
For optimal comfort and performance, keep the eyecup clean and free of debris. Avoid exposing it to oils, solvents or excessive heat which may deform the material. If the eyecup becomes worn or cracked, replace it to maintain proper sealing and viewfinder visibility.
