Silicone Sealant K2 B235N high-temperature up to 350°C, tube 21 g, red
Silicone Sealant K2 B235N high-temperature up to 350°C, tube 21 g, red is a heat-resistant silicone sealant formulated for demanding sealing and gasketing tasks where continuous or intermittent exposure to elevated temperatures is expected. Packaged in a compact 21 g tube and supplied in red, the sealant cures to a flexible, durable silicone rubber that maintains elasticity and adhesion on suitable substrates under high-heat conditions.
This high-temperature silicone provides resistance to temperatures up to 350°C, offering stable performance in engine bays, exhaust systems and industrial ovens. The cured material remains flexible to absorb thermal expansion and vibration without cracking or losing adhesion. Its universal formulation bonds well to metals, glass and many heat-resistant plastics, enabling multi-purpose use without the need for special primers on compatible surfaces.
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil, grease and loose particles before application. Cut the tube tip to the desired bead size and apply an even bead to one mating surface. Assemble parts within the recommended skin time and apply light pressure to ensure contact. Allow the sealant to cure fully at room temperature; cure time will vary with bead thickness and ambient conditions. For best results on non-porous surfaces, mask adjacent areas to ensure neat joints.
Use on heat-resistant substrates such as metals and glass. Avoid application to rubber or plastics that are not rated for high temperatures or that may be attacked by solvents; test on small areas if compatibility is uncertain. Store the unopened tube in a cool, dry place; follow local disposal regulations for cured silicone waste.
