Polishing compound K2 K2-ULTRA CUT C3+ (pasta do polerki mechan) – L001
K2 K2-ULTRA CUT C3+ is a mechanical polishing compound delivered as a paste for machine polishers. Formulated to remove moderate to heavy paint defects and swirl marks, it works with rotary and dual-action polishers to restore gloss and smoothness to automotive paint surfaces. The paste consistency ensures controlled material removal and compatibility with a range of polishing pads for paint correction and surface preparation before finishing steps.
The compound offers aggressive cutting power while maintaining a balance that reduces the risk of overheating when used correctly with suitable pads and machines. Its paste form enables precise application and even distribution, helping to level scratches, oxidation and sanding marks. K2 K2-ULTRA CUT C3+ is designed to produce a uniform surface ready for subsequent finer polishing or glazing without leaving heavy residues when properly removed.
Apply a small amount of paste to the polishing pad or directly to the panel and spread at low speed to cover the working area. Work the compound with light to moderate pressure, increasing speed or pressure only as needed while monitoring surface temperature. Move the polisher in overlapping passes until defects are reduced. Wipe off residues with a clean microfiber cloth and inspect the surface. Repeat the process on remaining areas or follow with a finer polish and protective coating as required.
Use suitable pad types and backing plates for the intended cut level; test on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid excessive heat buildup by using controlled speeds and short working intervals. After heavy correction, follow with a finishing polish and appropriate protection such as wax, sealant or ceramic coating to preserve results.
