How to use

Insert two AA 1.5 V batteries into the compartment according to the polarity markings. Open the hinged prop and place the viewer on a stable surface. Insert a framed 5×5 cm slide into the slide holder and switch on the lamp. Adjust the position of the slide until the image is centred under the lens; the fixed 2× magnification provides a clear, enlarged view for inspection. After use, switch off the lamp and remove the batteries if the device will be stored for an extended period.

Usage recommendations

Use high-quality AA batteries for steady illumination and replace the lamp with a matching 2.5 V, 0.3 A E10 spherical bulb when needed. Handle framed slides by their edges to avoid fingerprints on the image area and store the viewer in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
